Literature Text

My eyes have thus far seen
Many a great battle
My hands and feet
Trudge on wearily
Despite th' saddle
Upon th' back
Of a great war steed
That so oft' rides with me

I pull my sword
And eye my enemy
Who stands as still
'Cross th' clearing
Where my fallen comrades
Lay bleeding

Th' man, he follows
As I do move
Slowly, feet dragging
Sword heavy
Battle worn
We fight
We fall
And my blood doth bleed
Red crimson lava
Unto th' land
That I did protect
I did fight for

My enemies eyes
Open, unseeing
Doth watch me
Even as we sleep
And my steed neighs
'Fore gently falling
Beside me
Battle done, we sleep

It's a poem (duh) that pretty much just came up from nowhere in the back of my mind, so I thought to write it down.

Now there's proof that it exists.

What'cha think?
